The Britannia project was a significant undertaking involving the removal and replacement of a 9,000 square foot gym floor within a strict 9 week schedule in which Robertson Floors was responsible for all aspects of the project from start to finish including the following scope of work:

  1. Remove and dispose of existing hardwood flooring, subfloor, sleepers, and shims
  2. Shotblast and grind substrate to make ready for self-leveling compound
  3. Supply and place over 1,100 bags of Mapei Novoplan 2 self-leveler (approx. ” average)
  4. Supply and install new subfloor system complete with sleepers and EPDM cushions
  5. Supply and install new Maple hardwood flooring
  6. Sand and finish hardwood flooring with 3 coats of moisture cured urethane finish complete with line painting and staining
  7. Supply and install new sockets, vent coved base, and thresholds
